Overview

Platypus monofilament is manufactured especially for Australasian conditions. It has a hard outer surface annealing that not only offers superior abrasion resistance but also protects the line from harmful UV rays, reducing the chance of fatigue and inevitable breakdown. Platypus monofilament with its soft and limp inner core, and high knot strength, is ideal for all reels, waters and fishing from offshore to casting in both fresh and saltwater. The low visibility green colour is a natural choice for New Zealand fishing conditions.
