Overview

Daiwa Sealine reels are perfect for a wide range of kiwi fishing applications. The body structure is comprised of a robust hard-wearing composite construction which is supported by an aluminium frame, providing a balance of structural rigidity and corrosion resistance. A long-cast composites pool is supported by centrifugal breaking and adjustable free spool to provide outstanding casting performance and line control. Oversized machine cut bronze gearing provides maximum longevity, and when combined with a counter-balanced power handle, effortless cranking power. A Teflon impregnated multi-disk drag system supplies silky smooth drag pressure which is controlled by an easily accessible star drag.While a simple dependable ratchet and pawl anti-reverse system is utilized to ensure maximum reliability. Whether its straylining for Snapper, live baiting for Kingfish, or trolling for line class records, the trusty Sealine has got you covered. The Saltist SJ series responds perfectly to the demands of offshore angling. By utilising a graphite/fibreglass composite and a unidirectional wrapping process we have created a blank that is incredibly resilient while retaining an appropriate degree of sensitivity. With immense lifting power the Saltist SJ enables anglers to readily fight and control even the most powerful fish. Complimenting the blank are aluminium oxide guides, quality EVA grips, heavy duty graphite reel seats, and a rubber gimbal butt cap. The SJ is loaded with Saltist.
