Football Boots - Soft Ground

Soft-ground football boots, also known as SG boots, are designed to play typically on soft ground surfaces and are great for wet and muddy playing fields where you need good traction and grip. They are also a great for making sudden movements during the game.

Soft-ground football boots have much longer studs that will pierce the ground as you run. Unlike firm-ground football boots, soft-ground football boots have metal studs which are interchangeable. Traditionally soft-ground football boots used a 6-stud configuration, however different brands have begun to incorporate a mix of studs.
